Years back, I gave an interview about how philosophy and literature should play a bigger role in our money-focused society.

When I saw my interview in print, I felt misunderstood by the journalist. Unfortunately, the interview also made some people angry, and they weren’t afraid to show it on social media. But I learned my lesson; I never give interviews anymore if I can’t write them myself as personal essays. I also remember to live by my grandmother’s words: “If you don’t have something nice to say about a person, don’t say anything at all.” Or, in those virtual times, I stay away from my keyboard because I know how words can hurt. I want my digital footsteps to pave the path for growth.
